Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the waveform distortion of an output over a wide range of a signal band by using an interpolration filter(IPF) having flat characteristics at 0-f1/2 band and cutting characteristics at >= f1/2 band to increase the sample rate of input data m times and to execute linear interpolation. CONSTITUTION:Input data xn are preprocessed by an interpolation filter (IPF) 31 through an input terminal 26 to execute interpolation. Output data from the IPF 31 are inputted to a linear interpolator 28. A phase difference detecting circuit 24 finds out phase difference information between a clock 2CK1 obtained by duplicating the 1st sampling clock CK1 and the 2nd sampling clock CK2. Thus, the deterioration of frequency characteristics can be reduced by linear interpolation and the characteristics can be put close to more flat characteristics.
