Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute sample rate conversion at smaller waveform distortion by providing the titled circuit with a conversion table circuit for converting an output factor of a phase relation measuring circuit furthermore. CONSTITUTION:A phase difference detecting circuit 24 finds out a factor (k) indicating the phase relation between clocks CK1 and CK2 having different frequency values. When one factor (k) is applied, the conversion table circuit 30 can output four factors k1-k4. The factors k1-k4 from the cirucit 30 are applied to computing elements 312-315. A linear interpolator 31 has a filter function as a transversal filter and excellent characteristics can be shown as compared with frequency characteristics based upon ordinary linear interpolation.
