Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture linear matter of sintered superconductive material having a high critical temperature by containing powders of Fe2O3 together with material powders inside an outer cylinder member for containing material powders. CONSTITUTION:Powders of Fe2O3 are contained together with material powders inside on outer cylinder member formed of metal suitable for plastic work and including at least one closed section. Next plastic work is applied to this outer cylinder member. Then the plastic-worked outer cylinder member is heated, so that material powders inside are sintered. In this method of manufacture, sufficient oxygen is supplied to material powders in the sintering process if sintering is performed with material powders filled inside the outer cylinder member, thereby superconductive matter containing sintered matter having high superconductive characteristics can be manufactured.
