Abstract

CONSTITUTION:A Cu-Zn alloy pipe is produced by the conformation extrusion method, and the raw material oxide of a Y-Ba-Cu-O oxide superconductor is filled in it to form a composite wire. It is then applied with the drawing machining to shrink the diameter and heated and applied with the dezincing process, the pipe is made porous and sintered and heat-treated at the temperature of about 950 deg.C to form an oxide superconductor. The mechanical machining with a punch or the fine punch machining with a laser beam may be used to make it porous. An oxide superconductive wire with the same longitudinal characteristic and indicating superconductivity at 80K can be thereby obtained.
