CONSTITUTION:A processor 1 reads an instruction code out of a memory 2 storing a program and at the same time an instruction code decoder 4 calculates the processing cycle number of the instruction code. Then a memory control part 5 performs the control after the instruction code is read out of the memory 2 so that the executing address of the processor 1 is stored in a trace memory 3 in a prescribed period set by the output of the decoder 4. Thus the executing address of the processor 1 is actually stored in the memory 3. Thus it is possible to trace the program at a normal executing speed without using any trace device for occupation other than the processor 1.
