Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve transmission efficiency and to reduce deviation between an image and an original image, by providing a threshold value setting means to set a threshold value at a level to keep a transmission data volume almost constant at every transmission of a changed image. CONSTITUTION:Compression with high compressibility of data volume are applied on a reference image and the changed image at a control part, and they are transmitted as the coarse image data of the reference image and the changed image. Firstly, assuming that change between the reference image and the next image fetched after transmission is shown as in figure (a), the threshold value goes to the (a). Furthermore, it is assumed that certain change shown in figure (b) occurs between the image fetched at the next stage and a previous image. In such a case, a change volume goes to Va', and the Va' is less than a change volume Va, therefore, a transmission time is reduced than a constant time tc. Hereafter, the threshold value is set by the threshold value setting means so as to keep the change volume to be transmitted constant at every transmission of the changed image, and the change volume extracted by the threshold value is transmitted as the changed image.
