Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the titled precursor giving a superconductive oxide having a uniform compsn. and high reactivity by mixing powder of a compd. and/or a solid soln. contg. an alkaline earth metal and a rare earth element with Cu (compd.). CONSTITUTION:A precipitant such as an aq. ammonia soln. is added to a soln. contg. a compd. contg. at least one kind of alkaline earth metal (M1) and a compd. contg. at least one kind of rare earth element (M2). The resulting powdery mixture having <=2mum particle size is calcined at 700-1,300 deg.C for 0.5-2hr in an oxidizing atmosphere to obtain a solid soln. This solid soln. is mixed with Cu (compd.) powder having <=2mum average particle size in about 2:1:3 atomic ratio of M1:M2:Cu.
