A process for producing a lead-contg. oxide powder includes mixing and calcining a powder comprising lead free oxides, lead-contg. metal oxides, metal substances or their mixt, adding a lead powder to the mixt., and calcining the mixt. at 400-1200≰C. The lead-contg. oxide powder is used in the prodn. of sintered electrical elements.
