Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting coil, in which a superconductive material is not required to be formed into a wire shape, by laminating a plurality of one-turn coils each comprising a cylindrical substrate, in which a part is cut, and a film, which is formed on the outer surface of the substrate and made of a composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy in a concentraicircle patterns. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical substrate 1 has a cut part 1A. A film 2 comprising a composite oxide superconductive material including CuxOy is formed on the outer surface of the substrate 1. A plurality of one-turn coils 3 comprising the substrates 1 and the films 2 are laminated in concentric circle patterns. The end parts of a plurality of the one-turn coils are electrically connected with lead wires 4 in a spiral pattern. For example, the cylindrical substrates 1 comprising Al2O3, which has cut parts, are set in the vacuum container of a plasma flame coating apparatus. The powder of Y-Ba-Cu-O composite oxide is supplied into a flame coating nozzle. The films 2 comprising the superconductive material are formed on the outer surfaces of the substrates 1. Then, a plurality of the one-turn coils 3, in which the inner diameters of the cylindrical substrates 1 are different, are prepared and assembled in the concentric circle patterns.
