Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a superconductive wire of ceramic type having a high current density value by using as a core a single wire or cluster of such wires as made from a non-ferromagnetic and heat resistant material, raising the temp. of the core certain desired time steppedly, and at the same time furnishing multiple layers of ceramic superconductive films at the outside of the core one after another according to the number of temp. rises, followed by a heat treatment. CONSTITUTION:As a core, such a material is used as having non-ferromagnetism and the melting point over a heat treatment temp. of 400-1000 deg.C, wherein the surface course of SrTiO3, BaPbO3, etc., shall be in perovskite structure. The temp. of this core is raised in steps, and at the same time, multiple layers of ceramic superconductive films are provided at the outside of the core by means of PVD or CVD method. On the core, ceramic superconductive films of, for ex., Y1Ba2Cu3Ox are formed steppedly in thicknesses 3000Angstrom , 3000Angstrom with the core temp., at, for ex., 300 deg.C and 600 deg.C, followed by a 3hr heat treatment under O2 atmosphere at 650 deg.C to accomplish a ceramic superconductive wire superconductive films of ceramic in orthorhombic structure.
