CONSTITUTION:Powdery raw material of an oxide superconductor is compression molded into a prescribed shape and heat-treated to produce an oxide superconducting material 3. The superconducting material 3 is made to contact or joint with an ionic conductive substance 2. A direct current is passed through the joined product by applying DC voltage to a cathode electrode 1 and an anode electrode 4 from a power source 5 and a large amount of element ion (e.g. oxygen ion) moving through the ionic conductive material 2 is stably and effectively supplied to the superconducting material 3 to obtain the objective stable superconductor containing a prescribed amount of an element (e.g. oxygen).
