Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a characteristic of high frequency by performing heat treatment in a static magnetic field of a specified direction whenever an amorphous soft magnetic film is bonded and executing final heat treatment in the static magnetic field applied in the direction which makes an approximate right angle to the direction in which high permeability of high frequency is desired to obtain. CONSTITUTION:Heat treatment is performed less than the crystallization and Curie temperature of an amorphous soft magnetic material in the direction in which high permeability of high frequency is desired to obtain in a specimen, in other words, in an uniform magnetic field applied in the direction which is Y-direction when a pattern of a head is formed afterward, whenever a layer of an amorphous soft magnetic film is bonded on a substrate composed of oxide, and after each layer of the amorphous soft magnetic film is bonded completely, final heat treatment is performed in a static magnetic field applied in the direction X which makes an approximate right angle with the direction in which the high permeability of the high frequency is finally desired to obtain at the same temperature as the heat treatment or less subsequent to the heat treatment, and the dimensions of uniaxial magnetic anisotropy of the amorphous soft magnetic material is controlled by the temperature of the final heat treatment and time.
