Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable high-speed recording by making a superconductive element membrane non-magnetic locally through heating and recording by using a magnetic flux of an external magnetic field leaking from the non-magnetic part. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 4' is arranged on a non-magnetic support 3' with a superconductive element membrane, but a magnetic material 13 on a drum is not adversely affected by the perfect demagnetism of the superconductive element membrane in a normal temperature state. To record a magnetic latent image into a magnetic material 13, a laser beam 5' emitted by a prearranged signal is projected to the superconducting element membrane 11. The laser beam irradiation part 14 of the superconducting element membrane becomes non-magnetic at higher temperature than a superconductive transition temperature by conversion of a light energy to a heat energy and subsequent increase in the temperature of only the irradiation part. The magnetic flux 15 leaks from the non-magnetized irradiation part and a record is made in the magnetic material 13.
