Abstract
PURPOSE:To operate and control a plant so as to maintain a yield at an optimum value by controlling the pressure for supplying a liquid to be treated to a reverse osmotic membrane, thereby to maintain a produced-water flow at a predetermined value, and controlling the flow of the supplied liquid to be treated, thereby to regulate the ratio of the produced-water flow to the flow of the supplied liquid to be treated at a constant value. CONSTITUTION:The flow of produced water is regulated so as to remain constant at a predetermined value by controlling the extent to which a condensed-water flow control value 10 positioned in a line i is opened. This control of the value 10 is performed by means of an operating and controlling apparatus 12 according to signals from a produced-water flow-measuring apparatus 11 in a line g. Along with the above control, the flow in a line j for resending part of the seawater at the inlet of a membrane part 8 to a feed water tank 4 is regulated so that a yield can be kept constant at a predetermined value. This regulation is performed by calculating a yield from signals sent from the produced-water flow-measuring apparatus 11 and a condensed-water flow-measuring apparatus 13 by means of an operating and controlling apparatus 14, and controlling the extent to which a flow control valve 15 positioned in the line j is opened.
