Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a demodulation output with excellent linearity by adding a current mirror circuit to a conventional circuit so as to make always the count time of a capacitor constant independently of the input frequency. CONSTITUTION:In extracting output from 3rd and 4th pairs of differential transistor(TR) circuits 5, 6; 7, 8, they is extracted via current mirror circuits CUR 1, 2. Moreover, the collector current of one set of output TRs is fed back to the emitter of the other set of drive TR via the current mirror circuits CUR1, 2 so as to avoid the storage of the undesired charge in the capacitor 23 thereby preventing the production of the voltage DELTAVo giving effect on the count time of the capacitor 23. Thus, no undesired charge is stored in the count capacitor 23 and the count by the capacitor is made accurate, then the linearity of demodulation output is improved.
