Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting sheet coil having excellent mechanical strength by forming an oxide film on the surface of a substrate in which the same flat shape as a circuit pattern to be formed is formed, and forming a superconducting circuit made of oxide superconductor in a groove. CONSTITUTION:As the material of a substrate 3, sole metal selected from group IVa metal elements, such as Ti, Zr, Hf, etc., or group Va metal elements such as V, Nb, Ta, etc. or an alloy containing these metals is employed. Then, a groove 2 is spirally formed by a method, such as a mechanical press. Thereafter, material powder of oxide superconductor is filled in the groove 2 of the substrate 3. Subsequently, the substrate 3 is heat treated to react between the elements in the powder of the superconductor filled in the groove 2 of the substrate 3, thereby generating a superconductor having superconductivity. An oxide film 4 is formed on the substrate 3 by the above operations, and a superconducting sheet coil 1 on which a superconducting circuit 5 made of spiral oxide superconductor is manufactured.
