Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain safety by stopping the supply of high temperature hot water from another cock during the supply of high temperature hot water to a bathtub, by providing a water detection device in each of water passageways branched to a plurality of routes in a hot water feeder capable of supplying hot water to other places while supplying hot water to the bathtub or the like. CONSTITUTION:Water fed in through a water inlet port 1a passes through a burner 1, absorbs heat at a heat exchanger 2 and is discharged as hot water through a hot water feed route A and a faucet route B. The hot water feed route A is provided with a water volume regulating device 4 having a water stop function and with a water detection device 5, while the faucet route B is provided with a water detection device 6, respectively. A control unit 11 consists of a water volume measuring means 14 for measuring the flow quantity in each of water passageways according to the input signals from the water detection devices 5 and 6, a water volume regulating device driving means 13 for driving the water volume regulating device 4 provided in the hot water feed route A, and a combustion amount controlling means 12 for determining the combustion amount at a burner 9 according to the input signal from an external input device 15 and the input signal from a hot water supply temperature detecting device 3 and for driving a fan 10 for combustion air and a gas proportional valve 8 so as to be a predetermined combustion amount.
