CONSTITUTION:A bypass pipe 9 is situated between a water inflow pipe 5 and a hot water feed pipe 6, and a solenoid on-off valve 10 for mixing low temperature water is situated in the bypass pipe 9. An inflow water temperature detecting sensor 11 is situated in a water inflow pipe 5, a feed hot water temperature detecting sensor 12 in a hot water feed pipe 7, and a water amount detecting part 13 is situated in a position located down a line from the branch point of the water inflow pipe 5. When a difference between an inflow water temperature and a set feed hot water temperature is below a specified value, the solenoid on-off valve 10 is opened. In this case, from a ratio between a premeasured flow rate of a bypass pipe and a flow rate flowing toward the heat exchange part side, a necessary feed hot water temperature and a necessary combustion amount before mixing are computed by a controller 15 by means of a water amount detected by a water amount detecting part 13, and corresponding fuel feed command and blast amount command are outputted to a fuel regulating feeder 14 and a fan 4.
