PURPOSE:To attain exact code identification by converting an input signal for the code identification to a digital signal, calculating an average value between the average value of one polarity level of this digital signal and the average value of the other polarity level and level-comparing the average value with the digital signal. CONSTITUTION:The input signal for the code identification is converted to the digital signal and a digital signal processing is executed. Namely, when an off-set is generated to the digital signal outputted from an A/D converting circuit 25, the level fluctuation of the digital signal outputted from FF circuits 33 and 34 is respectively suppressed to the 1/2 fluctuation of the off-set fluctuation of the digital signal. Thus, an identifying level fluctuation, which is the average value of the output level of the respective FF circuits 33 and 34, is suppressed to the 1/2 or 1/4 of the off-set fluctuation of the digital signal and an identifying level can be held to the almost central level of the amplitude of the digital signal. Thus, the exact code identification can be executed.
