Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the precision of conversion by converting analog data, having an added bias component, and data on the bias component into digital data directly and by finding their difference by an up-down counter. CONSTITUTION:Analog scanner 1 is composed of a semiconductor switch having 16 pieces of make contacts S1, S2... for every 8 channels, for example. The 1st make contacts S1 is connected to information source 6A applied with a bias, and the 2nd make contact S2 to information source 6B showing the bias component of information source 6A. At the stage when make contact S1 operates, a pulse signal from pulse generator 2 is inputted to input UP of up-down counter 3 via the 1st AND circuit 4A for count-up operation. At the stage when make contact S2 operates, the pulse signal is applied to input DOWN of counter 3 via the 2nd AND circuit 4B to count down the bias.
