Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a high theoretical density ratio so as to attempt securing high critical current values by forming a clad body by hot isostatic press (HIP) treatment under a condition where oxidizing mixed powder is filled so as to be sealed in a metallic case, and baking said clad body in the metallic case. CONSTITUTION:Let R2O3 powder, AO powder and CuO powder as source powder be prepared, let these source powder be blended into respective specified compositions so as to be mixed thereafter, these are filled into a case made of Ag with a filling rate of 50% maintained. Then, they are sealed in a vacuum so as to be put into a HIP device for letting HIP treatment be processed under a specified condition for forming an oxidizing clad body. In the second place, the aforesaid oxidizing clad body is baked together with the metallic case under a condition that heating is maintained at a specified temperature in atmosphere so as to synthesize the oxidizing clad body in the metallic case into a superconducting ceramics clad body. Then, the aforesaid clad body baked by HIP treatment is cold-finished by both swaging and groove rolling respectively so as to be a wire, thereby completing the forming with stress relieve annealing processed.
