Abstract

PURPOSE:To bleed and remove moisture produced at the time of starting a turbine so as to restrain the erosion damage of a rotor blade by providing a bleeding pipe for steam which heats water supplied to a boiler and also additionally providing a bypass pipe which feeds steam from the bleeding pipe to a condenser. CONSTITUTION:This system has a plurality of, low pressure turbines 1A, 1B of mutually identical structure and a generator 2. A plurality of bleeding pipes 6A-6D, which are respectively connected to feed water heaters 3A-3D, are additionally attached to a low pressure turbine 1A (1B). The operating steam for the low pressure turbine 1A is discharged to a condenser 4. In this case, a plurality of bypass pipes 7A-7D connected to a chamber 5 connected to the condenser 4 are attached to respective bleeding pipes 6A-6D between the low pressure turbine 1A and each of feed water heaters 3A-3D. And a plurality of isolating valves 8A-8D are arranged to each of bypass pipes 7A-7D respectively.
