Abstract
1519973 Steam-gas power plant; preheaters TSENTRAL NI I PROEKTRNO - KON - STRUKTOR KOTLOTURBINNY INST IM I I POLZUNOVA 31 July 1975 32032/75 Heading F4A In a power plant including a gas turbine 9 associated with a steam generator 2 which supplies superheated steam to a turbine 17, condensate from the steam turbine is preheated in series connected low-pressure regeneration pre-heaters 20, 21 and a low pressure gas/water heat exchanger 6 connected in parallel with at least one, 21, of the regeneration pre-heaters; the outlet of the gas/water heater being connected by a line 31 to the inlet of the regeneration heaters. High pressure regeneration preheater 22 in parallel with a high pressure gas/ water heat exchanger 5 are provided downstream of a deaerator 23 and a pump 25 fed by the low-pressure preheaters, and feed an economizer 4. In the arrangement shown an air compressor 7 supplies air to a combustion chamber 11 for the gas turbine 9 which discharges gases into the combustion chamber of the steam generator-gases exhausted from the steam generator passing through the economizer and gas/water heat exchangers. In an alternative arrangement (Fig. 1, not shown) the air compressor 7 feeds both gas turbine combustion chamber 11 and steam generator combustion chamber, gases exhausted from the steam generator pass to the inlet of the gas turbine 9, and gases exhausted from turbine 9 feed the gas/water heat exchangers.
