Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve repeated oxidation resisting characteristic at high temperature and hot workability, by specifying respective contents of Cr, Al, Y, Fe, Ti, C and Ni. CONSTITUTION:This austenitic alloy has a composition consisting of, by weight, 6-12% Cr, 4-5.2% Al, 0.001-0.1% Y, <=15% Fe, 0.1-1% Ti, <=0.1% C, and the balance Ni. This alloy has superior hot workability, high melting point, and excellent repeated oxidation-resisting characteristic at high temperature.
