Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the mass of a moving part for focusing and to improve the response to the focusing by coupling a chuck mechanism with the movable part of a voice coil motor and providing a passage for irradiation light to its center part. CONSTITUTION:This mechanism is provided with the lens chuck mechanism 1 which chucks a lens 2 while an open state is set in front of and behind the lens 2 and the voice coil motor 14 which has a through-hole 17. Then the movable part 14b of the motor 14 is coupled with the mechanism 1 and the through hole 17 becomes the optical path of light irradiating the chucked lens 2. Thus, the mechanism 1 is coupled directly with the movable part 14b and the passage of the irradiation light is provided at the center part of the motor 14 to reduce the overall mass of the moving mechanism for the focusing. Further, the mechanism 1 is coupled directly with the motor 14 for the movement driving mechanism to perform with good response. Therefore, the focusing is completed in a short time, the mechanism which is simple on the whole is obtained, and the inspection instrument is therefore reduced in size.
