Abstract

PURPOSE:To make operation safe and sure by constituting a bayonet mechanism with tne receiving part and inserting part of an optical connector leading laser light to a waveguide, opening the shutter provided to the receiving part in cooperation with the operation of the bayonet mechanism through coupling of the receiving part and inserting part and generating a detection signal via a switch. CONSTITUTION:The free end of an optical guide 7A is inserted into the space enclosed by the clamping projecting piece 22C provided to the clamping material 22 at the bayonet female part 21 at the end of a cylinder 20 for leading in of laser light. At this time, the end of the pin 25 of the female part is inserted into the hole 30B provided to the flange 30A of the bayonet male part 30. If the male part 30 is turned counterclockwise, the pin 25 turns in a groove 21B by overcoming the force of a spring 27, thereby turning a shutter 23 around the shaft 24 and opening the hole 21A through which the laser beam passes. At the same time, a lead switch 28 is turned on by way of a magnet 29, and the electric power source shutter of the laser light source is opened by way of a Shmitt circuit, drive circuit, etc. Thereby, the operation may be made safe and sure.
