Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable starting of motor regardless of residual capacity of a battery to be recharged, by additionally providing a circuit for feeding starting current. CONSTITUTION:Source power is rectified and smoothed then fed to a ringing choke type transistor inverter 4. A battery 1 is changed through ON/OFF of a transistor Q1. A switch 2 has contacts (a), (b), (c), where (a), (c) are connected during stoppage of a motor 3 while (b), (c) are connected during operation of the motor 3 and (a), (b), (c) are connected at starting time of the motor 3. Consequently, a resistor provided at the emitter side of the transistor Q1 exhibits lowest resistance at starting time of motor, higher resistance during motion of motor and highest resistance during stoppage of motor. As a result, duty ratio of the transistor Q1 is highest at starting time of motor, high during operation of motor and low during stoppage of motor. Since a sufficient current can be fed from a power source circuit even at starting time of motor, stable starting can be achieved regardless of residual capacity of battery.
