Abstract

PURPOSE:To secure the safety and to prolong the service life of an auto-on switch with a mechanical contact at the latter part of a power switch operated from the outside, and operating it when no strong current is loaded. CONSTITUTION:At the latter part of a power switch 2 to switch a power supply from the outside, an auto-on switch 16 is connected in series to the loading. The auto-on switch 16 has a mechanical contact and controls the reservation and practice of the operation of an appliance. The auto-on switch 16 is controlled to operate the ON and OFF when no strong current load flows by a microcomputer 8. Even though a direction of a strong current load driving is issued as an error operation of the microcomputer 8 while the auto-on switch 16 is in a reservation-waiting condition, the strong current circuit is not operated and no current flows. In such a composition, safety is secured even in the waiting condition, and the service life of the auto-on switch is extended.
