PREPARATION:The objective compound of formula I can be produced by reacting indolines of formula II (X is halogen; Y is amino-protecting group) with a cyaniding agent (e.g. sodium cyanide) in an aprotic organic solvent (e.g. DMSO) at 20-200 deg.C, hydrolyzing the nucleus cyano group of the resultant compound of formula III in the presence of an alkali such as sodium hydroxide and, as necessary, esterifying the product.
