Abstract

PURPOSE:To execute cutting with high efficiency and high quality by superposing plural metal mesh plates and cutting by a laser beam in the state of adhering them. CONSTITUTION:The metal made mesh sheet 5 superposed in plural pieces by a clamp jig 12 is adhered by clamping and subjected to laser cutting by condensing a laser beam on the surface of the sheet 5. In this case an inert gas is used as the assisting gas and a burning phenomenon is thus cleared off and also a cut face can be welded over the whole body. Plural mesh sheets can thus be cut with a simple method all at once.
