PURPOSE: To obtain a bulky polyester fabric having an excellent soft touch and not giving skitteriness caused by the coexistence of luster difference and concentration difference in fine sizes by blending plural kinds of ultrafine multi- filaments which have the same single filament fineness, etc., and different thermal shrinkage degrees, and then unevenly heating the obtained blended yarn. CONSTITUTION: Plural kinds of polyester filaments which have the same single filament fineness of <=1.0 denier, the same filament cross-sectional shape and gloss but have a thermal shrinkage difference of preferably >=3% between high shrinking yarns and low shrinking yarns are interlaced with each other to prepare the differently shrunk blended ultrafine multi-filaments. The differently shrunk blended ultrafine multi-filaments are unevenly thermally treated, and then used as wefts or warps to obtain the objective woven fabric.
