Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable marking over a large area with high accuracy by reducing luminous fluxes to increase the energy density of laser light and scanning the laser light to a mask while a work and the mask are held fixed, thereby executing marking. CONSTITUTION:The laser light L outputted intermittently from an oscillator 10 by a control part 18 is condensed in one direction by a 1st optical system 11 and is entered to a plane mirror 16. The mirror 16 is oscillated at the angle corresponding to a pattern 20 and in the direction orthogonal with the longitudinal direction to an elliptical shape to reflect the incident laser light L toward a cylindrical mirror 19. The spots L1-Ln which are respectively made into the parallel luminous fluxes from the laser light L are projected to the mask 21. The laser light past the pattern 20 is condensed by a condenser lens one after another onto the surface of the work 22 so that the image of the pattern 20 is marked on the surface thereof in arbitrary size. The laser light increased in the energy density by a shaping optical system 11 in such a manner is scanned in the form of the parallel luminous fluxes to the mask 21 and, therefore, the fixed state of the mask 21 and the work 22 are maintained and clear marking is executed.
