Abstract

PURPOSE:To aim at improvement in scavenging efficiency by installing a deflection device which guides a main inlet direction of suction air to the inside of a combustion chamber from a sub-suction port supplying the suction air only, to a central part of the whole exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:There are provided with a main suction port 102a, supplying an air-fuel mixture, and a sub-suction port 102b supplying suction air only. A branch passage 15 to be connected to the sub-suction port 102b is bent, forming a deflection device 122, and a main inlet direction of the suction air to the inside of a combustion chamber from the sub-suction port 102b is guided to a nearly central part of the whole exhaust port 103. With this constitution, the suction air is fed over the whole combustion chamber, thus scavenging efficiency can be improved.
