Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress disturbance of main air and to improve the accuracy of mixing ratio control through a choke valve by arranging a main air take-in port in the upstream of the choke valve and forming a main air path as an independent path. CONSTITUTION:Main system of a carburetor comprises a main jet 1 for measuring fuel, a main air bleed for measuring air and a Venturi 3 for mixing measured fuel and air and delivering mixture gas. Take-in port 5 of air to be measured through the main air bleed 2 is arranged in the upstream of a choke valve 4. An air path 7 for leading air through the take-in port 5 into a main air bleed chamber 6 is formed as an independent path. Consequently, air can be led through the take-in port 5 and the air path 7 into the main air bleed chamber 6 without influence of motion of the choke valve 4, resulting in suppression of disturbance of air flow.
