Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain optimum air-fuel ratio to an engine and improve its operational quality and output power, by increasing a fuel amount at concentration of alcohol not les than a preset value with use of an alcohol concentration detecting sensor and fuel increasing device operated upon acceptance of output from said sensor.
CONSTITUTION: In case of alcohol concentration detected by an alcohol concentration detecting sensor 9 not less than a preset value with a large amount of mixed alcohol in the fuel mixture of alcohol and gasoline in a float chamber 2a, a main auxiliary bleed actuator 7 and slow auxiliary bleed actuator 8 are both close operated by a controller 10. In a main line fuel passage 2c and slow line fuel passage 2, bleed air is only fed to a main air bleed 3 and slow air bleed 4 respectively, and rich mixture with large proportion of fuel can be fed from a main nozzle 2b, idling port 2d and slow port 2e.
