Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent false learning due to temperature characteristic of an engine by prohibiting updating of a learning value corresponding to the air-fuel ratio feedback correction amount based upon output of an air-fuel ratio sensor during a designated period of time after starting. CONSTITUTION:Detection values of an intake pressure sensor 6, a cooling water temperature sensor 8, an air-fuel ratio sensor 9, a cranking sensor and so on and a signal of an igniter 12 are input to a control device 14 to control an injector 4. That is, the basic fuel injection quantity is computed from a number of rotations and intake pressure, and correction is conducted by the air fuel ratio feedback correction amount based on the detection value of the air-fuel ratio sensor 9 and learning correction amount set corresponding to the number of rotations and intake pressure. Updating of the learning correction amount is prohibited until the number of times of ignition after a cranking switch 13 is changed from OFF to ON amounts above designated.
