Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the titled steel plate by the existing hot rolling line, by specifying the secondary rolling conditions in the method for rolling the low C aluminum killed steel having specific value or below of C content in the high low temp. range. CONSTITUTION:The low C aluminum killed steel contg.<=0.08wt.% C is subjected to primary rolling including >=2 passes rolling involving <=5 sec interval between passes at >=30% draft ratio of each pass in the temp. range of Ar3 point or above. Said steel plate is then subjected to the secondary rolling of >=50% total draft ratio involving <=2 sec interval between passes of the >=2 passes rolling including the final pass of >=30% draft ratio in the temp. range of A3 point -450 deg.C and is thereafter subjected to a recrystallization treatment. By this method, since the change of the structure preferable for the improvement of the workability is generated at the time of the following recrystallization in the secondary rolling, the hot rolled steel plate having excellent workability can be obtd. without depending upon the special method such as lubrication rolling.
