Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the working time by machining a work while moving a machining head at the speed synchronizing with the delivery speed of the work basically by a machining head control means to perform the machining without stopping the delivery of the work. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a pipe manufacturing material 1 is delivered continuously, the machining head 14 is fitted to the cutting starting position of the pipe manufacturing material 1. At the same time with that, the machining head 14 is moved at the speed synchronizing with the delivery speed of the pipe manufacturing material 1 and while it is moved, the cutting operation of the pipe manufacturing material 1 is performed by a laser beam 8 from the machining head 14. As a result, since the deliver of the pipe manufacturing material is not stopped every time the cutting operation is performed, the working time at the cutting stage can be reduced by that amount.
