Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. スラリーポンプハウジングの内周に固着したフ
    ランジにラバースプリングを介して嵌着した静止
    側シール環と、前記ハウジングに挿通されて回転
    するシヤフトの外周に固着したシールカバーにラ
    バースプリングを介して嵌着した回転側シール環
    とを互いに対接させ、両シール環とシヤフトとの
    間にバツフルスリーブを遊挿してその一端を前記
    フランジを含むポンプハウジング側に固定し、ま
    た、フランジを含むポンプハウジング側にバツフ
    ルスリーブの外周空間に臨むクエンチング孔を貫
    設して、クエンチング用の水がその位置エネルギ
    によりクエンチング孔内を流れ落ちてバツフルス
    リーブ外周空間からバツフルスリーブ内周空間を
    経由して外部へ抜ける流路を形成した構造を有す
    る軸封装置において、シヤフトにスリーブが嵌着
    されている場合は該スリーブを含むシヤフトの外
    周面、またはこれと径方向に対向している前記バ
    ツフルスリーブの内周面に、シヤフトの回転によ
    つてバツフルスリーブ外周空間からバツフルスリ
    ーブ内周空間を経由して外部へ向かうクエンチン
    グ用の水の流れを阻害して弱める方向に圧力を生
    じる螺条を形成したことを特徴とするスラリーポ
    ンプ用軸封装置。
