Claims (1)
- 機体に挿通された回転軸の軸周をメカニカルシ
ールで軸封するとともに、このメカニカルシール
を前記機体に装着されたシールカバーの内径部に
組込み固定してなる静止側シール部と、前記回転
軸の軸周にスリーブライナを介して固定してなる
回転側シール部とから構成し、かつ前記シールカ
バーに冷却流体を静止側シール部側に注入排出す
るクエンチング孔を設けた軸封装置であつて、前
記回転軸とスリーブライナとの間の少なくとも回
転側シール部に相当する位置に、前記クエンチン
グ孔からの冷却流体が流入可能な空間部を形成し
たことを特徴とする軸封装置。
