Claims (1)
- 回転側の外周面の一部に螺旋溝を形設して該部
を回転側密封部材となし、該回転側密封部材が固
定側密封部材の内周に環状の小空隙を残すよう遊
挿されて、前記螺旋溝のネジポンプ作用によつて
機内流体の漏洩を抑止する非接触式シールにおい
て、前記固定側密封部材が薄肉・軽量の筒状に形
成されるとともに、機器ハウジングの内周に弾性
部材を介して径方向変位自在にかつ気密的にフロ
ーテイング支持されてなることを特徴とする非接
触式シール。
