Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacturing work of a transformer by using superconductive materials for high and low tension coils, thereby making iron cores smaller and by assembling iron cores while mounting unit magnetic path pieces made up in advance to a tank. CONSTITUTION:A tank 1 consisting of non-magnetic metals has a rectangular through part 1c at its inside and further, at the wall surfaces of the through part, an opening part is sealed with a reinforcing plate 6 consisting of an insulator so that a magnetic circuit will not take place one-turn short-circuits. High and low tension coils 3 and 4 are composed of respective superconductive materials and are wound so that they will be interlinked with unit magnetic path pieces 2. The inside of the tank 1 is kept at a temperature that is less than a critical temperature of the superconductive materials. On the occasion of making up a magnetic circuit, the unit magnetic path pieces 2 are constructed in advance by magnetic thin plates 10 and connections 11 and they are assembled so that end parts of the unit magnetic path pieces 2 engage with each other by turns in the inside of the tank 1. After that, the connections 11 are welded to fix internal surfaces of the tank 1.
