Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the cooling efficiency of an electromagnetic core by enclosing a hollow cylindrical coil with a bottle-shaped core formed by radially laminating thin steel plates having thin one end and thick other end in such a manner that the thin end is disposed inside, thereby enabling the reduction in size and eliminating the iron loss and copper loss. CONSTITUTION:A coil inserting slot 4', a leg 5' having a width of half of the diameter of an inside core 5 and a leg 6' forming an outside core 6 are provided at a thin steel plate on triangular section with one thin end and other thick end, and are formed in U-shape. The height h1 of the leg 5' is slightly shorter than the height h2 of the leg 6'. The steel plates 3 are laminated in such a manner that the thin ends 5' are inside and are radially disposed to form bottle-shaped cores 1, 2. After a coil 8 is inserted into a cylindrical slot 4 of the core 1, the other core 2 is faced and superposed, and a stabilizer having an air gap 7 at the core 5 and surrounded by the outside core 6 at the entire periphery of the coil is formed.
