Abstract

PURPOSE:To hold air-fuel ratio always to a proper value by controlling a boost pressure variable device being based on a detection signal from a lean burn sensor, in the case of an engine providing a regulator which changes a gas supply pressure in accordance with a boost pressure or the like for controlling the air-fuel ratio. CONSTITUTION:Gas, serving as the fuel, is supplied from a gas pipe 2, and the gas, after its pressure is regulated by a regulator 1, passes through a gas side throttle 4 from a gas pipe 3, being introduced into an intake pipe 6 via a gas valve 5. On the contrary, air is supplied to the intake pipe 6, passing through an intake side throttle 7, and the air is supplied with the gas to a combustion chamber 9 via an intake valve 8. Here a boost pressure conducting pipe 19 provides an auxiliary valve 23, further it is driven by a stepping motor 24, while it is controlled by a control unit 25. The control unit 25 respectively inputs each detection signal from a boost sensor 26, lean burn sensor 27 and an electromagnetic pick up 28.
