Abstract
PURPOSE:To decrease the number of signal lines necessary for a data transferring and to improve transferring efficiency by executing an asynchronous data transferring with three signal routes between a master device and a slave device, and obtaining meaning in the transition of signal condition due to the level change in one signal route. CONSTITUTION:When data are transmitted from a master device 10 to a slave device 20, an output signal MOB is made '1' from '0' by the instruction of an MPU 11 to an output port 14, and the signal condition is changed from (111) to (101). Then, a transition, circle-mark 1, is generated and the data transmission is informed the slave device 20. On the other hand, when the signal MOB goes to '0', a signal line 31 and an input signal SIB of the slave device 20 go to '0'. The slave device 20 changes from the initial condition (111) to the (101) and when the generation of the transition, circle-mark 1, is detected, an output signal SOC is made from '1' to '0' to respond. Thus, the signal condition on the signal lines 31 and 32 goes to (100) and a transition, circle-mark 2, is generated. The transition is repeated in the same way concerning the following and the asynchronous data transferring is executed.
