Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the line service for high speed line efficiently, by providing the buffer circuit to store the data, control and status information in the line connector at transmission and reception sides. CONSTITUTION:The data on the information line from multiplex communication control unit (including transmission data and transmission control information regarding the line control) is controlled with the control signal from the terminal 107, and the transmission data is output as serial data bit train via the data transmission circuit 1. On the other hand, in case of transmission control information, the data transmission circuit 1 is controlled via the transmission control circuit 2, and it is transmitted to the line to control the line side unit. The reception data from the line side unit is the data reception status signal at the data reception circuit 3 and input to the reception control circuit 4 together with the status of the line side unit from the terminal 104, and the reception status signal of the output and the reception data character of the data reception circuit 3 are input to the reception buffer circuit 6, and the data are output at a bundle independently of the data speed from the line.
