Abstract
PURPOSE:To hold the inner pressure of a reactor container to planning pressure, to remove a fission product and to prevent the explosion and combustion of hydrogen, by discharging gas from the gas discharge pipe going through a fission product capture tank. CONSTITUTION:A dry well 2 and a suppression chamber 3 are connected to a gas discharge pipe 7 provided with destructive plates 8a, 8b through the normally closed isolation valve 6 on the well side and the normally opened isolation valve 6 on the suppression chamber side. A noncombustible N2 gas supply apparatus 9 is connected to the gas discharge pipe 7 through a normally closed isolation valve 10 between the destructive plates 8a, 8b. By this constitution, the overpressure breakage of a reactor container can be prevented and the healthiness thereof can be kept and the fission product in the gas discharged to the atmosphere at the time of the reduction in pressure can be captured and the explosion and combustion of hydrogen gas can be prevented.
