Abstract
PURPOSE: To save time which may be spent in an intermittent pneumatic conveying device with a plural number of tanks for pneumatic conveying, by arranging plural number of their air supply valves to be closed at the same time.
CONSTITUTION: An air supply valve 3 is opened and the pressure at it is raised to pressure P2. A discharge valve 11 of a tank 7 for pneumatic conveying is opened to convey an object pneumatically. At the time when the pressure in the tank 7 reaches pressure P1, the valve 3 is closed and the valve 4 is opened. At this time the valve 11 is open and the pressure inside the tank 7 is lowered to the atmospheric pressure, and it gets ready for receiving next pressure, but the valve 12 is closed to prevent the object from reversing to the tank 7 and a conveying tube. When the pressure of the tank 7 becomes the atmospheric pressure, the valve 11 is opened and the valve 5 is closed to start receiving an object to be conveyed. When the pressure of the tank 7 becomes pressure P2, the valve 12 is open and the object flows into the conveying tube.
