Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive photosensitive body not requiring a coating device by forming an electric charge transfer layer by heat treating and melting it at the time of laminating a photoconductive layer and the charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic sensitive body is obtained by forming on a conductive supporting body 1 the charge transfer layer 2 and the photoconductive layer 3 having a free surface 4 on one side. At the time of laminating the layer 3 on the layer 2, a polymer layer constituting the layer 2 is softened by heat treatment and the layer 3 is attached to the layer 2, thus permitting the layer 2 superior in heat resistance and long in the range of carriers to be formed in a uniform film thickness without using the coating device, and consequently, the electrophotographic sensitive body low in residual potential, high in sensitivity and chargeable potential to be obtained at low cost by said synergistic effect.
