Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fiber outstanding in both heat and water retentivity, for use in clothing etc., by delivering and spinning a stock solution prepared by dissolving a polymer containing specified amount of acrylonitrile through Y-section-shaped olifices, into a coagulating liquid consisting of an organic solvent aqueous solution under specified conditions. CONSTITUTION:When a spinning stock solution prepared by dissolving a polymer containing >=55wt.% of acrylonitrile in an organic solvent is delivered through a spinneret surface 2 having many Y-section-shaped olifices 1 into a coagulating liquid, the delivery angle is so set as to be 25-60 deg. against the nozzle surface, the tilt direction of the nozzle being contained in the vertical plane containing the approximate center line of the angle formed by two sides among respective three sides of the delivery holes of said olifices 1, and the spinneret is set so that said angle face in the delivery direction. Said coagulating liquid consists of an organic solvent aqueous solution containing 55-75wt.% of water. Thence, the above-mentioned stock solution is spun into said coagulation liquid at a draft ratio of 0.9-1.5 to be made into fiber, thus obtaining the objective fiber.
